How to Play Snowman
Snowman is a kid-friendly version of the classic word-guessing game. The original "Hangman" name can be upsetting or scary for young players, so we've reimagined it with a cheerful snowman that builds up with each wrong guess!
Game Rules
- Guess letters: Click the on-screen keyboard or type on your keyboard to guess letters.
- Correct guesses: If the letter is in the word, it will be revealed.
- Wrong guesses: If the letter is not in the word, a part of the snowman is built.
- Win: Guess all the letters before the snowman is complete to win!
- Lose: If the snowman is completed (6 wrong guesses), you lose.
Difficulty Levels
- Easy: Simple, short words perfect for beginners.
- Medium: Longer words with more variety.
- Hard: Challenging words and fun phrases!
Tips to Win
- Start with common vowels like E, A, O, I.
- Try common consonants next: R, S, T, L, N.
- Look for patterns in partially revealed words.
- Think about word length and possible matches.

Snowman is a modern, family-friendly take on the classic word-guessing game traditionally known as "Hangman." Our Snowman version keeps all the fun and educational value—helping players learn spelling and vocabulary—while replacing the morbid imagery with a cheerful winter theme!
Instead of drawing a figure on a gallows, each wrong guess builds part of a friendly snowman: first the snowballs, then the face, arms, and finally a cozy hat. It's the same classic gameplay that generations have loved, now reimagined for all ages.
