It's the paper game kids played on the bus, minus the paper. You pick the options and draw the spiral. This page counts the loops and crosses the rest off.

What this page does for you

Gives you a MASH experience without the paper. You draw the spiral, using your mouse/trackpad, finger, or stylus. Then the counting is done for you. Original MASH artwork by cartoonist Scott McMahon.

  1. Fill the blanks

    Begin a New Game asks one question at a time, with three blanks under each. Type your own answers, or tap the arrow beside a blank for a suggestion. All Random fills the whole list.

  2. Draw the spiral

    Drag your finger or the mouse in a loop and stop where you like. The page counts the lines, then counts around your options and crosses off whatever it lands on.

  3. Read what's left

    Watch the crossing-off, or skip ahead to Read Your Story. One option survives in each list. Those leftovers are the story.

The houses stay at four. The other lists had three options each. The spiral came out to seven.

You'll live in a shack with your old chemistry teacher and eleven children, and you'll drive them around in a hearse.

Put at least one genuinely terrible option in every category. Otherwise the game isn't worth playing.
