MASH for iPhone and Apple Watch
It's the MASH you played on notebook paper, with the counting done for you. You answer the questions and draw the spiral with your finger. Then a green pen crosses things off until one future is left on the page.
We made the first version in 2008, right after the App Store opened. It's still free on iPhone and iPad, and the Apple Watch version comes with it.

How a game goes
The rules are the same as the paper game. The app just holds the pen.

Answer the questions
There are more than 20, and every one has its own cartoon by Scott McMahon. Type three answers, or tap the dice and let MASH fill in something strange.

Draw the spiral
Shut your eyes and draw it on the notebook page with your finger. When you lift off, MASH counts the rings. That count is your magic number.

Watch the pen
A green pen goes down your lists, counting to the magic number, and crosses off whatever it lands on. It keeps going until every list has one answer left.

Read your story
Your future comes out as one long paragraph, and the confetti falls. Tap Save Story to keep it, or Share Story to send it to whoever got the shack.

MASH for Apple Watch
The watch app comes free with the iPhone app. Download MASH on your phone and it shows up on your paired watch by itself.
You pick how long a game you want first. Each question still gets its cartoon, full screen. When it's time for the spiral, you turn the Digital Crown instead of drawing.
